1. Who we are
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase and use of online courses on this website. The seller and provider of the courses is HACCP Consulting s.r.o., [registered address], Slovakia, company ID (IČO) [ ], tax ID (DIČ) [ ], VAT ID (IČ DPH) [ ], registered in the Commercial Register of [court], section Sro, insert no. [ ] ("we").
1.2 Contact: info@haccp.sk, +421 000 000 000.
1.3 Our supervisory authority for consumer protection is the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia), Inspectorate for the [region] region, [address].
2. Words we use
- Course: an online HACCP training of video lectures and a final test, in the language stated on the course page.
- Seat: the right of one person to take one course once, including test retakes and the certificate.
- Buyer: the person or company that places the order and pays. A buyer may be a consumer (a natural person not acting for business) or a business.
- Participant: the person who takes the course on a seat. The buyer and the participant may be the same person.
- Course link: a private link sent by email that opens the course for one participant.
- Your orders: the page where a buyer who bought seats for other people manages them after signing in with a code sent by email.
3. How the contract is made
3.1 On the course page you choose whether the course is for you or for other people, the number of seats, and the currency. In the next steps you enter the participant's or your own email, the invoice details, and the payment method. Before ordering you see a summary with the total price and can change every entry.
3.2 By ticking the box that you agree with these Terms and Conditions and clicking Order with obligation to pay, you place a binding order. The contract is concluded when we confirm the order on the screen; the version of these Terms that you accepted is stored with your order, and you can open it at any time from your confirmation email and from the order.
3.3 We send a confirmation of the paid order to the buyer's email, with the accepted Terms and the waiver of the right of withdrawal (section 8).
3.4 The contract is concluded in the language of the website you ordered in (English, Polish, or Hungarian). We store the contract (your order and the accepted Terms) and make it available to you on request.
4. Prices and payment
4.1 Prices are per seat and include VAT. The price shown in the summary before ordering is the final price; there are no additional fees.
4.2 We offer prices in EUR, PLN, and HUF. The currency you choose is fixed once the order is placed. Your bank may charge a conversion fee if your account is in another currency; we have no influence on it.
4.3 You can pay:
- by card (Visa, Mastercard; Apple Pay and Google Pay where offered). Card payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.; we never see your card details;
- by bank transfer (EUR only), to the account and with the reference shown after ordering. The order is paid when the full amount arrives.
4.4 The price shown when you order is guaranteed for 7 days. An order that is not paid by then expires; you may place a new order at the current price. Until it is paid, you may switch from a bank transfer to a card payment on the payment page.
5. Invoices
5.1 We issue an invoice to the invoice details you entered in the order (a private person or a company). For a bank transfer we first issue a pro-forma invoice, and the invoice after the payment arrives.
5.2 Please check the invoice details before ordering. If they are wrong, write to info@haccp.sk within 14 days of the invoice; we will issue a correcting document where the law allows it.
6. Access to the course
6.1 After the payment we send the course link to the participant's email, usually within a minute. For seats bought for other people, the buyer assigns each seat at Your orders, by email invitation or a claim link; the course link is sent to the participant when the seat is assigned or claimed.
6.2 A seat can be assigned within 365 days of the payment. A participant has access to the course for 365 days; the exact end date is shown in the course.
6.3 The course link is personal. Do not share it; anyone with the link can open the course of that participant. If a link is lost, the participant can request it again on the website ("Lost your link?").
6.4 The buyer may change the person on a seat until that person has started the test. After that the seat belongs to that participant.
6.5 You need a current web browser and an internet connection. Videos are streamed; downloading or recording them is not permitted.
7. Test and certificate
7.1 The course ends with a test. A failed test can be retaken free of charge while the access lasts.
7.2 After passing the test, the participant receives a certificate in PDF with a unique code. Anyone can verify the certificate on this website with that code or the QR code on it.
7.3 The certificate confirms that the participant passed our course. Whether it fulfils a particular legal or employer requirement in the participant's country is for the participant or the employer to check; [validity and recognition statement — Q-6, Q-11].
8. Right of withdrawal
8.1 A consumer may normally withdraw from a contract concluded online within 14 days without giving a reason.
8.2 The course is digital content supplied immediately after payment. Before ordering, you ask us to start supplying it immediately and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal once the supply has begun (the separate checkbox in the order). Supply begins when the course link is sent.
8.3 A business buyer has no statutory right of withdrawal.
8.4 This does not affect your rights when the course is defective (section 9).
9. Complaints
9.1 If the course does not work or does not correspond to its description, write to info@haccp.sk with your order number and a description of the problem.
9.2 We confirm the complaint without delay and settle it within 30 days at the latest — by fixing the problem, extending access, or refunding the price (in full or in part).
10. Personal data
We process personal data of buyers and participants to perform the contract, to issue invoices, and to verify certificates, as described in the Privacy notice [link].
11. Liability
11.1 The course provides general HACCP training. It does not replace advice for a particular business or the duties that food law places on a food business operator.
11.2 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, or the statutory rights of consumers.
12. Disputes
12.1 If you are a consumer and we do not settle your complaint to your satisfaction, you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body; in Slovakia, the Slovak Trade Inspection (www.soi.sk) or another entity on the list kept by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic. You may also contact the European Consumer Centre in your country.
12.2 These Terms and the contract are governed by Slovak law. A consumer keeps the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where they live.
13. Changes to these Terms
13.1 We may change these Terms for future orders. Every version has a version label and a date, and remains available on this website.
13.2 Your order is always governed by the version you accepted when ordering.
